Cheryl Warhurst

I attended Priory back in the 1980s. My daughter now attends and is in Year 10. I love reading, all of the time if I can! Due to my love of reading came my desire to help encourage young people to develop their own love. This is how I entered school governance. Everybody has the right to the best education, reading is a great stepping stone to success.

When this role came up, I jumped at the chance. I work part-time in the local community where I have taken up the role of Wellbeing Mentor. Wellbeing is so important for everyone and I think as we are slowly getting back to normal, wellbeing will be even more important. I am so excited to be joining the team.
