Big-hearted students, parents, carers, staff and the community have dropped huge amounts of food and items to Priory Community School Academy in Weston-super-mare, Somerset, for Foodbank.

This week Foodbank collected the items which totalled nearly 1000 kilos. Pictured is Principal Angelos Markoutsas with Head Girl, Ruby Minty, and Tom Harding, Head Boy.

PCSA is a true community school that inspires citizens of the future that care for others.

Principal Angelos Markoutsas said: “Every year our students, parents, staff, academy and community astonish me with the levels of their giving. This was a colossal amount.

“We are delighted to support such a wonderful charity with these essential items.”

PCSA is part of The Priory Learning Trust.

Neville Coles, CEO of The Priory Learning Trust said: “This is terrific generosity for such a great cause. Thank you to everyone who donated.”
